THEBES, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Jackson of Thebes and Roberta Matlock of McClure, Ill., announce the engagement of their children, Victoria Lee Jackson and Shane Allen Matlock.

Jackson is a graduate of Central High School and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She is employed at Bank of America in Cape Girardeau.

Matlock is a graduate of Shawnee High School at Wolf Lake, Ill., and Shawnee College at Ullin, Ill. He is employed at Delta Concrete.

An October wedding is planned at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
