ENGAGEMENTS: PROFFER-JORDAN

Frank and Theresa Proffer of Sikeston, Mo., and Marilyn and Joe Gilmore of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Ann Proffer, to Wesley L. Jordan. He is the son of George and Georgia Jordan of Villa Ridge, Mo.

Proffer is a 1991 graduate of Oran High School. She is business office supervisor at Washington Pediatric Associates in Washington, Mo.

Jordan is a 1991 graduate of Pacific High School. He is a community relations deputy with Franklin County Sheriff's Department in Union, Mo.

A Sept. 15 meeting is planned at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo.
