SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Linda Kaye Hood of Scott City announces the engagement of her daughter, Shannon Hood, to Keith Urhahn. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Urhahn of Oran, Mo. SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Linda Kaye Hood of Scott City announces the engagement of her daughter, Shannon Hood, to Keith Urhahn. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Urhahn of Oran, Mo.

Hood attended Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss., and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She is a certified diamontologist at Kay Jewelers in Cape Girardeau.

Urhahn received a bachelor of science degree in recreation from Southeast University. He is a recreational therapist with Missouri Department of Mental Health at Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington.

A Sept. 22 wedding is planned at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
