ENGAGEMENTS: LOWELL-ATCHISON

Vanessa Lowell of Cape Girardeau and Steve Atchison of Benton, Mo., announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Ruth Ladd of Chaffee, Mo., and the late Elvin Earl Ladd. Atchison is the son of Gordon Atchison of Jackson, Mo., and the late Virginia Farrar.

Lowell is a graduate of Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas, and attended Rend Lake College at Ina, Ill. She is employed at Pyramid Group.

Atchison is a graduate of Oran High School in Oran, Mo. He is employed with Best Fender Products of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

A January wedding is planned in Nevada.
