ENGAGEMENTS: BILL-ALLRED

Lawrence and Tina Bill of Jackson, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melinda Ann Bill, to Eric Glenn Allred of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Allred of New Madrid, Mo.

Bill is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Wal-Mart Portrait Studios in Cape Girardeau.

Allred is a 1998 graduate of New Madrid County Central High School, and is majoring in accounting at Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed by Schott and Van De Ven of Cape Girardeau.

A Jan. 6, 2001, wedding is planned at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
