ENGAGEMENT; SEARS-SHOGER

Mr. and Mrs. James H. Sears Jr. of Greenwood, S.C., have announced the engagement of their daughter, Angela Suzanne Sears, to Peter Benjamin Shoger of Abbeville, S.C., and formerly of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Thomas C. Shoger of Lakeland, Fla.

Sears is a 1996 graduate of Greenwood High School. She expects to receive a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Erskine College in Due West, S.C.

Shoger is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Erskine in 1998. He is employed with Milliken and Co. in Abbeville.

A July 22 wedding is planned at North Side Baptist Church in Greenwood.
