Mr. and Mrs. Wally Lage of Cape Girardeau have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Lage, to Jason Shaffer. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Shaffer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Lage of Cape Girardeau have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Lage, to Jason Shaffer. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Shaffer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Lage received a degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is employed by Linn-Mar School District in Cedar Rapids.

A May 13 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
