JACKSON, Mo. -- Jack and Patricia Christian of Morrisonville, Ill., and Charles and June Brown of Jackson announce the engagement of their children, Katie Renae Christian and Charles Richard Brown Jr. Christian is a 1997 graduate of Morrisonville High School. JACKSON, Mo. -- Jack and Patricia Christian of Morrisonville, Ill., and Charles and June Brown of Jackson announce the engagement of their children, Katie Renae Christian and Charles Richard Brown Jr.

Christian is a 1997 graduate of Morrisonville High School. She received an associate's degree from Lincoln Land Community College in 1999, and is attending the University of Illinois at Springfield. She is a teacher at ABC First Steps Learning Center in Raymond, Ill.

Brown is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture economics-business from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1995. He is an agent with Country Companies Insurance in Morrisonville.

A Nov. 18 wedding is planned at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Morrisonville.
