ENGAGEMENTS: BERKBIGLER-FRIESE

FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Rayford and Ruth Berkbigler of Friedheim announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristal Ann Berkbigler, to Robert Joseph Friese. He is the son of Darrel and Margaret Friese of Jackson, Mo.

Berkbigler is a 1994 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received a bachelor of social work degree from Murray State University in Murray, Ky., in 1998. She is an independent living specialist with SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence in Cape Girardeau.

Friese is a 1989 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He is a merchandiser with Central States Coca-Cola in Jackson.

A Sept. 30 wedding is planned.
