ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Mike and Autumn Hughey of Altenburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Joy Hughey, to Rex L. Overbey II. He is the son of Rex and Opal Overbey of Leopold, Mo.

Hughey is a 1998 graduate of Perryville High School, and is majoring in advertising at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Tric's Family Restaurant.
