Maurer-Miller

Jim and Teresa Maurer of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Terese Maurer, to James Yates Miller III. He is the son of J.Y. and Mary Elsie Miller of Glasgow, Mo.

Maurer is a 1993 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri in 1997, and a master's degree in business administration from Washington University in 2001. She is employed at Express Scripts Inc.

Miller is a 1989 graduate of Caruthersville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1993, and juris doctorate degree from the University of Missouri in 1996. He served five years in the U.S. Army JAG Corps. He is employed at Thompson Coburn LLP.

A Nov. 17 wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
