Mr. and Mrs. James Hays of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Marie Hays, to Eric Scott Bowman. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Bowman of Cape Girardeau. Mr. and Mrs. James Hays of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Marie Hays, to Eric Scott Bowman. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Bowman of Cape Girardeau.

Hays is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She expects to receive a degree in computer science from Southeast Missouri State University in May.

Bowman is a 1997 graduate of Central High School. He is the furniture and layout designer at OFM Inc. in Sikeston, Mo.

A June 1 wedding is planned at Christ Church of the Heartland.
