Stuessel- Plassman

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stuessel of Mount Carmel, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Val-Lisa Marie Stuessel, to Nicholas James Plassman. He is the son of Pamela Plassman and James Plassman of Cape Girardeau.

Stuessel is a 1998 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She received a degree as a physical therapist assistant from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. She is employed at Healthsouth Tri-state Rehabilitation Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Plassman is a 1998 graduate of Central High School. He is serving in the U.S. Navy and is stationed aboard the USS Iwo Jima in Norfolk, Va.

An Aug. 24 wedding is planned at Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton, Ind.
