JACKSON, Mo. -- Wilburn and Brenda Sparks of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Nicole Sparks, to Jason Clark Weaver. He is the son of Marilyn Weaver of Cape Girardeau and Gary Weaver of Austin, Texas. Sparks is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Southeast Missouri State University earlier this month. JACKSON, Mo. -- Wilburn and Brenda Sparks of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Nicole Sparks, to Jason Clark Weaver. He is the son of Marilyn Weaver of Cape Girardeau and Gary Weaver of Austin, Texas.

Sparks is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Southeast Missouri State University earlier this month. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Weaver is a 1996 graduate of Twin Rivers High School, and is pursuing a degree in music at Southeast University.

A June 8 wedding is planned at First General Baptist Church.
