Beussink-Shearon

Amy Marie Beussink and Paul Elliot Shearon of Cape Girardeau announce their engagement. She is the daughter of the late James and Lydia Beussink of Leopold, Mo. He is the son of Alan and Ginger Shearon of Jackson, Mo.

Beussink is a 1997 graduate of Leopold High School. She is an oral surgery assistant for Dr. Robert Ward.

Shearon is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and is a senior at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in marketing. He is employed at Sears.

An Aug. 3 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
