ArrestsAlan W. Brasher, 34, 1030 S. Pacific, was arrested Thursday on a Jefferson County warrant for non-support.

Joshua Demont Whirl, 19, 539 S. Pacific, was arrested Wednesday for trespassing.

Margaret Michelle Jackson, 26, Scott City, Mo., was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for failure to pay a fine for stealing.

TheftA John Deere tractor was reported stolen at 420 S. Kingshighway.

Scales were reported stolen at 500 La Cruz.

Checks were reported stolen at 1401 Independence.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen in the Cape Girardeau area.

Property damageA metal hasp was damaged at Arena Park.

A flag was damaged at 1441 Rose.

A Plexiglas covering for a light bulb was broken at 40 S. Sprigg.

MiscellaneousA wallet and contents were found at 31 S. Kingshighway.

A peace disturbance was reported.

Concealment of contraband in the municipal jail was reported and the suspect is in custody pending the filing of formal charges.

A burglary was reported at 1214 Broadway.

A 22-year-old male was placed into protective custody.

A rape was reported.

A robbery was reported.

Trespassing was reported at 539 S. Pacific, and the suspect is in custody pending the filing of formal charges.
