Gillihan-Evans

Troy and Hazel Gillihan of Poplar Bluff, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lori Ann Gillihan, to David Lee Evans, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Doris Evans of Cape Girardeau.

Gillihan is a 1988 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Southwest Baptist University, and a master's degree in community counseling from Southeast Missouri State University.

Evans is a 1986 graduate of Dexter High School. He received an associate's degree in electrical/electronic engineering while in the U.S. Navy. He is employed at Advanced Business Systems.

A Sept. 28 wedding is planned at Southeast University's Baptist Student Center.
