The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI Donna A. Welsh, 41, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, Lot 58, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests Joe W. Brand, 19, of 301 N. Lorimier, Apt. 22, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trespassing.

Maurice R. McClinton, 19, of 517 S. Middle, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of trespassing and resisting arrest.

An 18-year-old male was placed in protective custody Wednesday.

Christopher A. Welker, 28, of 417 S. Minnesota, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

A subject was placed in custody Wednesday pending the filing of formal charges for fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance and for possession of a controlled substance.

Sheritta A. Jones, 32, of 914 S. Ellis, was arrested Wednesday for on suspicion of stealing. A 10- and 16-year-old girl were cited to juvenile court for receiving stolen property in relation to Jones' arrest.

A 37-year-old male was placed in protective custody Thursday.

Summonses Chad M. Looman and Cynthia M. Looman of 822 Good Hope received summonses Wednesday for failure to maintain property free of litter.

Angela D. Jenkins of 1515 Themis received a summons Wednesday for improper backing.

Thomas S. Haupt of 1710 N. Main received a summons Wednesday for failure to yield.

Thefts A Missouri license plate 225-DAX was reported stolen Wednesday.

Gasoline was reported stolen Wednesday by Rhodes 101 at 407 Morgan Oak.

Dime rolls were reported stolen Thursday by Dollar General Store at 64 S. Plaza Way.

Camcorders were reported stolen Thursday by Circuit City at 164 Siemers Drive.

A stereo with a CD player and CDs were reported stolen Thursday at the 400 block of N. Pacific.

Property Damage A vehicle was reported damaged Thursday at 247 Siemers Drive.

A tire was reported slashed Thursday at 1354 Mount Auburn.

Miscellaneous

A 14-year-old female was cited to juvenile court Wednesday for being incorrigible.
