Kelley-Harris

Jayne and Loyd Ervin and Curtis D. Kelley Jr., all of Cape Girardeau, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra L. Kelley, to Lannie S. Harris, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Stella Baxter of Marble Hill, Mo., and the late Claude Statler.

Kelley is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001, and received a graduate gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, Calif., in 2002. She is employed at the family business, Jayson Jewelers Ltd.

Harris is a 1993 graduate of Greenville High School. He was a Boatsman's Mate 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy, and was a search and rescue swimmer on a destroyer in Japan. He is attending Southeast University.

An outdoor wedding is planned May 31, 2003, at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
