The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest Jason A. Hudak, 23, of 208 Gristmill Drive, Beckley, W. Va., was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of unlawful discharge of fireworks.

Summonses Jonathan B. Hudak, 19, of 1948 Eden Circle, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Tuesday for unlawful discharge of fireworks.

Ryan M. Blaha, 22, of 1710 N. Sprigg, Apt. 801, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Stoddard County warrant for assault.

Two persons were placed in custody Tuesday pending the filing of formal charges for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Torrance O. Gardner, 18, of 338 N. Middle, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for receiving stolen property.

Earnest L. Nelson, 50, of 808 S. Pacific, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of traffic violations and on a Wentzville warrant for failure to appear.

Catherine M. Buchanan, 21, of 2829 Themis, Apt. 3, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Thursday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Assault A person was placed in custody Tuesday pending the filing of formal charges for domestic assault.

Theft A scanner was reported stolen Tuesday by Rent One at 2349 Broadway.

Property Damage A vehicle was reported damaged Wednesday at Good Hope and Middle.

A door frame was reported damaged Wednesday at 102 Rear N. Henderson.

A window was reported damaged Thursday by Clark Wheel Alignment at 430 Independence.

Miscellaneous Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported Tuesday at 200 Westfield Shoppingtown Mall. A person was placed in custody, pending the filing of formal charges.

Forgery was reported Tuesday by Rhodes 101 at 1126 N. Sprigg and 1610 N. Kingshighway.

A Missouri license plate bearing 551-NST was reported lost Tuesday at 3020 Boutin.

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests Jonathan W. Frymire, 17, of 2092 Old Toll Road, Apt. 17, Jackson, was arrested Tuesday on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to obey a judge's order.

David A. Gray, 33, of 1612 Mulberry, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of stealing.

Derwin A. Simmons, 29, of 326 East Lane, Jackson, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of domestic assault.

A 15-year-old male was referred to juvenile authorities Wednesday on suspicion of forcible rape.

Summonses Jordan P. Detweiler, 17, of 11475 Magnolia Drive, Dexter, Mo., received a summons Tuesday for failure to obey a stop sign.

Stephen M. Sotak, 40, of 2751 Ridgeway Drive, Jackson, received a summons Wednesday for failure to obey a stop sign.

Justin M. Locke, 18, of 150 Copperhead, Burfordsville, received a summons Thursday for driving while suspended.

Theft Theft was reported Thursday in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.

Property Damage Property damage was reported Wednesday in the 300 block of South Union.

Property damage was reported Thursday in th 400 block of North Ohio.

Miscellaneous Illegal dumping was reported Tuesday in the 400 block of East Main Street.

A domestic dispute was reported Wednesday in the 3800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

A suspicious person was reported Wednesday at the 200 block of East Main and the 1200 block of East Main.

A child custody dispute was reported Wednesday in the 200 block of Capaha Trail.

A request was made Wednesday for officers to check on the well being of a person in the 400 block of East Lane.
