Aaron Hadler, a senior at Perryville High School, has been named the October 2012 Student of the Month by Perryville Elks Lodge 2701. He is pictured with Eric Tucker of the Perryville Elks (left) and PHS Assistant Principal Joel Roth. He is the son of Steven and Donna Hadler. During high school, Hadler has been involved in FFA (Grades 9-12), baseball (9-11) and football (9-12), serving as the captain of the baseball team this year. He has earned Academic Excellence Awards in English, geometry, consumer ed, algebra and world history. He earned the Scholar Athlete Award in 2009 and 2010 and the Outstanding Sportsmanship Award (Grades 9-11). He earned his JV letter in football in 2010 and varsity letter in 2011. He was named an All-Conference linebacker in 2011 and an Athlete of the Week in 2012. This year he earned the Superior Achievement Award for overall achievement in all classes. He plans to attend the Missouri University of Science and Technology to study engineering.
