Two Scott County 4-H members, Sarah Arnold and Angela Lix, attended the Missouri 4-H Citizenship Youth Forum in Jefferson City on June 22-24th.The annual event is an exciting experience where youth learn about their state government "from the inside." Legislators debate and pass bills, lawyers prosecute or defend the accused, judges weigh the merits of cases and make their decisions, and the media reports on it all! Choosing to be a legislator, judge, lawyer, or media reporter, participants cast themselves in exciting new roles and learn what it takes to be successful.. ...
