On October 21st as a hunter was making his way to hunt, Donna Davis was found. She was on a gravel road not far from Clearwater Lake. I interveiwed the daughter who lives out of town and she stated through her tears, "I don't understand why she could not be found? God I wish I could have found her and saved her." She told me that there were many people that have helped and that their suport and love and concern has meant the world to her. The family thanks all the officers and searchers that gave their time and energy to the search. There are many questions that the family have, like, who determines which person is worthy of the resources and tax payers money? but, at this time they are concentrating on the family and her moms funeral arrangments. SHe wanted me to tell all those that have called and e-mailed her with their support, and all those that helped, "thank you," each and every one, for their love and compassion. It helped her in this time of trial and confussion. She stated that she wishes the authorities had the same kind of compassion as others.the daughter has stated that she begged an officer in the town to check the Lake area and was told not to mention the Lake again or they would consider her a suspect. THe search team that came to town was sent on thier way? She was told by an officer that her mother was not there very long But, the Coroner stated that, "from the condition of the body, She was there for many days." There are many questions that remain to be answered and in time I am sure that those answers will be persued whole heartedly. In this mans opinion, those that are older , or poor or not of the "status" that others think they should be, are just as important to their families and to God, remember that there is some one that loves that person very much. People with a mental illness or those in so much pain that they don't know if they can make it another day, God loves them and there is hope. I know, I live in pain from MS and fibro-myalgia and I know the feeling of hoplessness and despair that they feel. Now for this family, their mom , grandmother and dear freind she has gone from the pain and rejection of this life, to a home in Glory. There she is wraped in the arms of God, she is comforted and loved and accepted and as God hugs her and wipes away every tear, she is set free. No more pain, no more sorrow and no more rejection. Yes, God is a merciful God and I know He has received Donna into His arms. Now the family can grieve, and now they can finally rest. Maybe there are those who will find it hard to rest. Love , prayers and compassion to the family. God bless you all.
