Pindwood Kennel of Cape Girardeau had a great start to their fall season. Gun Creek Hunting Retriever Club hosted the first event this fall; near Goreville, IL, on September 25th & 26th. There were nearly 100 retrievers competing each day, from six states. Pindwood Kennel of Cape Girardeau had a great start to their fall season. Gun Creek Hunting Retriever Club hosted the first event this fall; near Goreville, IL, on September 25th & 26th. There were nearly 100 retrievers competing each day, from six states. Mike and Janel Pind, owners of Pindwood Kennel, brought home a total of 9 ribbons; which included titles for two of their Labrador Retrievers.

Earning two ribbons to complete her title in the Started class was, Bob and June's Lady Tiger, "Abby." Owned by, Bob and June Rives of Chesterfield, MO.

Also, earning two ribbons to complete her title in the Seasoned class was, Pindwood's Peace On The Trail, "Piper." Owned by, Janel Pind. Handled by: Mike Pind.

Additional ribbons were awarded to the following:

*Two ribbons, Started Class, Hawkeye's Smooth Landing, "Drake."
