On Saturday October 9th, about 170 people gathered at Cape County Park for the 2nd annual SUDS (Step Up for Down Syndrome) Walk, formerly known as the Buddy Walk. The weather was gorgeous, and everyone enjoyed the food and activities prepared by the Heartland Down Syndrome Association. The walk is an enjoyable fall event that promotes inclusion and awareness of Down Syndrome. Face painting, a poster contest, music and playtime delighted young and old alike! Many thanks to all of the participants, workers and many donors who put together this special event.
