Cora Busby celebrated her 105th birthday on Nov. 19 among many of her family and friends at her home in rural Perry County. She remains in good health and is proud to oversee the maintenance of her own home and direct her own health care. She loves to go shopping and take long rides in the country. Cora is the head of six generations of her family, and she has well over 100 direct descendants. She especially enjoys visits with her family which includes Ruth Tinker, Maxine Speciale, Ray Busby, and Jim Busby, all of Perryville, Norman Busby of Millersville, Geneva Carroll of St. Louis County, Wayne Busby of Fountain, Fla., and Homer Busby of Harrison, Ark. She is a former resident of Oran, Mo.
