CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO--Tues. April 3, from 9 to 11 a.m., Ellen Hahs from the Crisp Museum at the River Campus in Cape Girardeau, MO will be hosting Barb Duncan, from the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri for a Ukrainian Egg Workshop. Each participant will leave with a beautiful egg, decorated in the Pysanky tradition.

Barb Duncan is a self-proclaimed expert in the field of Ukrainian Egg Art, and has traveled to the Ukraine on many occasions to perfect her art form. In the past she has hosted popular 'Teas' at her home to acquaint friends and family with this timeless technique, and she is very excited about partnering with the Crisp Museum to provide a workshop open to the community. Barb says, "It is always my pleasure to introduce the beautiful art of Pysanky to anyone interested."

All supplies for this activity will be provided onsite. Cost of the workshop is $15 per participant, due at sign up. The classroom is located in the Southeast Missouri State University Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts, at 518 S. Fountain St. in

Cape Girardeau, MO.
