Plan Now for VBS July 25-27 Ending in the Grand Finale 'KensPraise July 28 & 29. A summer family event called Babylon will be hosted at First Pentecostal Church from Wednesday, July 25 -- Friday, July 27 at 6:00 to 8:15 pm nightly. Children step back in time at Babylon, exploring Daniel's adventures as a captive in a foreign land. Kids participate in a memorable Bible-times Marketplace, sing memorable songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible-times snacks, visit Daniel, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God's Word. Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration--a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

Kids and adults at Babylon will join more than a million participants reaching out to needy kids through a hands-on mission project called Operation Kid-to-Kid, in which families will raise money for mosquito nets to combat malaria.

Babylon will run from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm each day. All of the VBS kids take part in several songs using the techniques they have learned in classes during VBS. Such as Dramatic Signing, Stick drama and Puppetry.

The Youth of FPC who have helped throughout VBS will also entertain with skits & songs using many props such as Drum line, Puppetry, Black light, Stilt walking and Slapstick to reinforce the truths that have been learned in VBS.

Everyone is invited! This is a 'NOT TO BE MISSED' event. It is the highlight of the year! The decorations are 'over the top' and envelope you in the story, making you feel as if you are in the middle of the action! There are two performances, Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 both at 6 pm nightly. Most people are so impressed they come back to the second performance and bring a friend!
