World Labyrinth Day is a day where we can all join in a global community of people all over the world walking labyrinths with the intention of helping our planet and all living creatures.
In a world where we are constantly bombarded with reports of negative and terrible events, it can be frustrating to know what we can do to help on a global level. There is a great truth that people joining together with the same intention and at the same time can cause great change. We are life force energy. Our thoughts are energy. Our emotions are energy. Labyrinths are energy patterns created from the symbols of sacred geometry. These are patterns found in nature and in all living creatures that support life. As energy beings walking labyrinths, the sacred energy of the labyrinth is activated and expanded bringing great benefit to the walker, the community, and the whole earth. When people of the earth join together to walk labyrinths for the love and the good of all, great power is manifested in this effort and unity.
When we "walk as one at 1" on World Labyrinth Day (1st Saturday in May), we are focusing the healing energy even more, walking with people at 1:00 pm in every time zone on earth. This creates a wave of labyrinth walking around our planet as it turns in space. World Labyrinth Day is an opportunity to focus on doing something positive for the earth and ourselves. The labyrinth is a device that joins us as one, and many labyrinths have been created all over the planet in the last ten plus years.
The Labyrinth at Abbey Road, 2411 Abbey Road, Cape Girardeau, will be participating in the fifth annual World Labyrinth Day on Saturday, May 4, at 1:00 pm by inviting everyone to come share their energy by walking our labyrinth, helping make this a year of peace by our combined unity on the labyrinths of the world. There is more power in combined and focused love than in anything else. Come join us in creating a more peaceful world.
