Two CHS students attend FBLA Leadership Conference

Cape Central High School seniors Aaron Mehner and Josh Greaser, pictured with FBLA Adviser Mrs. Theresa Taylor, attended the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Missouri Summer Executive Leadership Conference in Osage Beach, MO, in July. The conference, attended by over 400 members and advisers, provided district and chapter officers the opportunity to train, plan and prepare for a successful year with Missouri FBLA. Attendees were challenged to use their knowledge and resources to test their leadership skills. Workshops included officer roles and responsibilities, workshop planning, marketing FBLA, increasing membership, accountability and service project success. Mehner is serving his second year as chapter president and is currently the District Reporter. Greaser is serving his second year as a chapter officer and is a former district officer. Mrs. Taylor has been a business teacher at CHS and the FBLA adviser at Cape Central for twelve years.
