Troop 16 honored 7 new Eagle scouts on January 9th, 2014 at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Pictured from left to right sitting is Michael Nelson (Eagle project: built 2 exercise boxes for coyote's and repaired their pen at Watkins Wildlife Rehab,local animal sanctuary), Justin Pullin (Replaced a retaining wall at LOVE Inc., a Christian service group), Ethan Protzel (built a reflection pond at St. Vincent's School's new common area), Standing from left to right is Kirkland Seesing (rebuilt and installed benches at Cape Courthouse lawn), Trenton Schumer (Made Emergency kits and put them in St. Vincent's School), Graham Ruopp (Made a wooden bench for the Veteran's Home), and Ben Tlapek (installed smoke detectors and made and set up emergency evacuation plan at Camp Renewal- a Catholic summer camp).
