Forty Cape Girardeau Career & Technology Center (CTC) students competed at the Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership & Skills Conference at Linn State Technical College in Linn, MO, recently, and 19 students received medals. Four of those students qualify to compete at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference in Kansas City, MO, in June.
CTC students won awards in the following categories:
Audio Production Contest: 2nd Kyle Fields and Missy Colyner; 3rd Wilton Carter and Lyndsey Dollins
Digital Cinema Production: 2nd Ethan Norman and Devin Winter; 3rd Conrad Dean and Gabe McCanless
Early Childhood Education: 1st Tara Dudley
Industrial Motor Control: 2nd Eli Seger; 2nd Frank Ward; 3rd Cody Ashcraft
Internetworking: 1st Jacob Koeller
Television (Video) Production: 1st Jacob Thompson and Sam Unger; 3rd Zach Watkins and Sylvia Hunter; and 3rd Justin Dambach and Levi Rhodes
