April is National Donate Life month. Many schools and businesses in the Southeast Missouri area brought organ donation awareness and even raised funds within this region during the month of April.

Blue and green represent organ donation. Immaculate Conception School in Jackson, MO, participated in National Blue and Green Donate Life Day. The entire school discussed the importance of organ donation, wore blue and green, and teacher's planned for blue and green educational activities. Ms. Miranda Schlosser's IC Kindergarten class is pictured with blue and green donate life symbols. Ms. Schlosser was the cousin of Kaden Robert (Benton, MO) who was tragically killed last June 2014. IC donated over $1,000 for the Baseball Factory Kaden Robert Scholarship and Mid-America Transplant Services in St. Louis. Kaden received services at MTS. There, he was able to save 5 lives while donating his organs.
