On Feb. 4, Nathan Aufdenberg was elected as the Area 15 treasurer for the 2016/17 term. Aufdenberg is a junior at Saxony Lutheran High School in Jackson, Missouri. Freshman Frank Bonney had the opportunity to be a voting delegate that night. Here's what Bonney said about his experience, "It was a really cool experience and I'm glad I went because now I have an understanding of what is expected and what I should prepare for if I ever wanted to run for an area officer in the future."

Andrew Bohnert, Saxony's reporter said, "We are all extremely proud of Aufdenberg for achieving his goal. I know it's something he's been wanting to do for a while, and it's great that he got the position. This is also our second Area 15 officer in the two years that we have had FFA. We have tremendous students and I'm sure we will continue to have our students in Area office, and maybe even state."

Aufdenberg will be installed in office at the Area 15 Banquet in March.
