Support the local community! The Boy Scouts of America will be distributing plastic collection bags on Saturday, November 11th for the annual Scouting for Food drive. As in previous years, non-perishable food donations are requested for the drive. The Greater St. Louis Area Council requests no frozen items, no perishable food nor anything in glass be placed in the collection bags. Scouts will be collecting filled bags beginning at 9 A.M. on Saturday November 18th. Bags must be placed on front porches before 9 A.M. in order to be collected by volunteers.

If a bag is missed or citizens are unable to participate on collection day, donations can still be made at the Cape Girardeau Scout Service Center - 3000 Gordonville Rd, Cape Girardeau MO 63701. The office will be receiving donations Monday to Friday between 8:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. until Thanksgiving.
