"I am proud of these students who are representing the Cape Central Orchestra in the Southeast Missouri District High School Honors Orchestra," said Orchestra Director Michael Hanf. "They have sacrificed their time and energy and pursued music for music's sake." The Honors Orchestra will perform Saturday, Nov. 2, 4:00 P.M., at Richard D. Kinder Performance Hall on the Cape Central High School campus, under the direction of Mr. John Mazar of St. Louis, MO.

CHS Principal Dr. Mike Cowan said, "We are so very pleased to see this year's orchestra students sustain the tradition of musical excellence we have enjoyed in our Cape Central Orchestra program for many years. Without doubt, our orchestra is one of our oldest and most consistently successful co-curricular programs on our campus."
