Cape Giardeau, MO -- On Nov. 20, Jayco concluded the Jay Flight Sweepstakes in honor of Jay Flight being the top-selling travel trailer for 10 consecutive years by awarding a new Jay Flight SLX 264BHW to Steven Rankin of Cape Girardeau, Mo, a release from the organization stated. The unit was received at Youngblood's RV Capetown RV in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Several Jayco Towable Division representatives were present to award the unit to Rankin: Matt Thompson president; Brad Whitehead, vice president of sales; Sherlin Miller, national sales manager; Amy Duthie, senior product director for Jay Flights; and Ashley Lehman, director of corporate marketing.
"It's great to see the continued success of the Jay Flight over the years," said Amy Duthie, who has worked closely with the Jay Flight brand. "We have strived to remain true to the original goal of bringing the best in livability, features and value to the retail owner. Jay Flight's success has been built on these principles, and awarding this Jay Flight SLX 264BHW to Steven Rankin was a great way to celebrate the past decade of Jay Flights."
The Jay Flight Giveaway Sweepstakes ran July 15 -- September 30. Participants had two ways of entering, either online or at a Jayco dealership. Jayco received nearly 87,000 entries over the duration of the sweepstakes.
"We were so honored to hear that the giveaway would take place at our dealership," said Paul Russell, manager of the Youngblood's Capetown RV location. "We work hard to serve our customers and encouraged them to enter the sweepstakes. Getting to give away a Jay Flight SLX to Mr. Rankin was such a rewarding experience. The Jay Flight SLX 264BHW features a queen bed in the front, full bath with tub/shower combination and double-sized bunk beds in the rear as well as a well-equipped kitchen with dinette.
