The Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau, MO, has received a grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities in the amount of $3000 to support their childrens service program. The Center partners with the Cape Girardeau Public Schools district to provide outpatient services to area students.
The center, established in 1974, serves the emotional and metal health needs of the community.
RMHC supports non-profit childrens' programs in the area of education, health and social well-being, and the cultural arts. The local chapter awarded over $275,000 in grants to projects in the tri-state area in 2013.
