The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting teams for the summer 2012 slow pitch softball league in the coed, men's, women's and church league divisions.

Games will be played Monday through Thursday nights at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex. Men's division teams will play 21-24 games; women's, coed, and church division teams will play 14-18 games. Games begin on April 23.

Men's team registration fees are $595. Coed, womens and church league registration fees are $555. Team rosters and fees are due to the A. C. Brase Arena by March 23.

There will be an informational/manager's meeting on March 20 at 6:30 p.m., at the Osage Centre.
